Em and I popped out between snow storms today to see how things are on and off the pistes. Verdit: Good and much more snow on the way (-20 and white out due this weekend Brrrrr).
The first significant snows have come to the French Hautes Pyrenees with more on the way. Looks to be a good start to the 2016-2017 winter season. The Grand Tourmalet ski resort is due to open at the end of the month and close on teh 16th of April this year.

It has to be not skiing the Pyrenees until now. It was epic, both touring where the bears are (sleeping ); and riding down from the Pic Du Midi observatory.
